Biographies

Maisam Jaljuli (2)

Maisam Jaljuli

Has been the CEO of Tsofen-Tashbik since 2022. As a social feminist and political activist for many years, Maisam has been deeply involved in the promotion of workers' rights, women's rights, and a shared and equal society for Arabs and Jews. She is a board member of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, and leader in the grassroots movement 'Standing Together'. Maisam is a recipient of the New Israel Fund's Gallanter Prize for inspiring social leadership and of the Walking Man award for activism.

Merav Boozy Boa

Merav (Boozy) Boaz

Serves as Deputy CEO of Tsofen-Tashbik. A former Air Force officer with the rank of Major, she continues to volunteer for reserve duty. She serves on the board of Bayit Al HaYam, an organization that provides therapeutic sea-based activities for families of children with disabilities, for those affected by illness, injury, terrorism, and violence across all sectors. Boozy is deeply committed to translating values of social justice, equal opportunity, and synergistic connections between all communities into meaningful action.
